Truncated Icosahedron

Here's some instructions on the truncated icosahedron:

The pieces for the 36 inch model will have sides of length 7.26 inches.
The pieces for the 48 inch model will have sides of length 9.685 inches.

12 Pentagons and 20 Hexagons each. (all sides of the same length in the same model)

Because the models use both pentagons and hexagons, the beveled edges aren't all the same.

The beveled edges on the sides of the hexagons that meet up with other hexagons is 20.9 degrees.
The beveled edges on the sides of hexagon that meet up with a pentagon are 18.7 degrees.



The Pentagon has all edges beveled at 18.7 degrees.
The Hexagon has alternating beveled edges of 20.9 degrees and 18.7 degrees.

Where the hexagon meets the pentagon the angle should be 18.7 and where the hexagon meets hexagon the angle should be 20.9.
